Tips & Tricks

This section is intended to give all photographers some helpful hints and tips for wildlife photography and our goal here is to provide assistance by discussing "real-world" photographic examples from the field.
Each month we will feature a particular photograph we have taken, and what it took to get it, from the location of the sighting, to the timing, knowledge of habits, positioning for the shot, camera settings etc. (Everything that made the shot worthwhile)
We will also discuss the post-processing procedures we went through to get the image into its final output - one of the great benefits of the digital photography era.
All feedback is welcome. Our intention is to focus primarily on birds, with the odd animal here and there where appropriate.
